On September 2, 2008 Roblox began purchasing Robux with a guest feature through the website. The ability to purchase through the Roblox mobile app was launched on December 11, 2012. Robux is also available with the Roblox card and can be purchased physically and online at many stores around the world.
An active premium subscription users will receive an additional Robux bonus when purchasing Robux. Non-credit card users can use Rixty to get gift cards and use Coinstar machines to exchange the remaining reserves with Robux. However, this option no longer exists.
What is Robux?
Robux is known to the public currency and as the main currency of Roblox. All of the avatar store are paid their products using Robux, including special items such as microtransactions and game tickets. Robux’s name is a combination of Roblox and Bucks (Bux).
On November 21, 2019, the Robux symbol changed from R$ symbol to a common beehive and turned gold instead of green. Roblox did not recommend using R$ symbol after changing the character. Perhaps the real currency of Brazil are uses the same abbreviation too.
